I had a good chuckle at it but because I'm a massive kid I thought it was pure genius.

Its engine spec is rather tasty though.

mx-5 is pretty boring in engine transplant terms much better cars to stick the v8 engine in.

What do you mean boring!?

Have you seen videos of guys driving those cars? Nothing but smiles and grins!

mx 5 isn't the pinnacle of good looking motors, it is a everyday sporty car, sticking an v8 isn't original or as exciting to me as sticking the v8 in something more interesting, like a ford capri.

Which makes whacking a great big V8 into it all the more special! I would love one personally, and fits this thread perfectly.

How about a longitudinal V10 where a transverse I4 usually sits?

Not exactly in the same hole though? Hasn't that been extended at the rear?

That's similar to what i want to do with a VX220 but only a measly 8 cylinders.

You'd think there'd be at least one picture of the engine conversion, wouldn't you?

Did you see the one that featured in PPC magazine a year or two ago? A guy managed to squeeze a Rover V8 in a VX.

The mouth looks quite well done, someone went to a lot of trouble! An official promo vehicle for UK/Europe perhaps?
