Seems to me another DCW.

''It's not, the video is edited and the longer video shows him getting into an altercation with the cyclist for "being in the middle of the road" (which is completely entitled to be). The full video also shows the motorcyclist harassing car drivers for no reason, he's an all-around aggressive dick and the cyclist took his keys just to piss him off. He shouldn't have, for sure, but it wasn't a theft attempt, he was just trying to get back at him. The other cyclist isn't connected other than being another cyclist who saw the altercation.''

Yes, the full video shows what a spunk trumpet the motorcyclist is. Just what the world needs, another "vlogger" knob.

Full video
Sadly video is gone, but further down that reddit thread...

What a fking , and just to show how selfish and potentially dangerous that was, a kid on a bike comes by on that path 5 seconds later.

we've no idea of the age of the person. also you're allowed to ride up to 20metres on a pavement if it's to your home etc.. and nowadays police don't care about pavement riding as long as you're sensible.

Have a watch of the video again that is a shared use cycle/footpath. There is blue sign indicating so.

Wonder why they was driving on the hard shoulder, not paying attention?
Assumed it was a managed motorway section?
Nope, just before J8 eastbound

Google Street View
Wow, lack ot attention then, dork.
I think they thought it was the exit sliproad (bizarrely), the White line from the last bridge is reminiscent of the peel off from the main carriageway but there was no broken line so, yes completely unobservant.

Or maybe what they believed they observed and what they actually observed were two different things

If that many people messed it up, I would suggest that the fault lies with the signage

Only takes one.

Actually two. One to make the initial mistake and then a second to validate the first by following him and then BANG... queue of muppets. biggrin

Close call for this Golf. No idea what he was doing but when I pulled along side to check he was OK/what he was doing, there wasn't a mark on the car.
Very fortunate.

Oh dear!

To be clear, that maneuver would not be acceptable in any form of transport, but the fact that it's a HGV weighing nobodygivesatoss-tons, many times more than a 1.5T car, it's downright irresponsible. Trying to defend the position of the dashcam vehicle (weight unknown, irrelevant) is difficult. All vehicles are fitted with a horn, this is precisely the right circumstance to use it. Cam vehicle should have backed off or remained at a safe distance to any other traffic where it could be seen, even to someone with poor observation.

To accelerate up to the designated limited speed and stick there 'no matter what' demonstrates a lack of intelligence HGV drivers are always keen to point out does not exist.
FFS............

It's not a HGV, speed wrong, dash wrong and camera height wrong. It's a fking minibus or coach, stop lumping us HGV drivers in with bus drivers.
My rant was at people dramatising a situation with false information and a lack of knowledge as they have some pathetic agenda.
I wasn't defending the cam car, I agree it's road craft was very poor.
How the hell does a HGV accelerate up to the designated speed of 70mph?
You do understand the Rover was driving slowly don't you, his driving was utterly appalling too.
Yet more generalising from the inept............

I'll stop ranting, it's clear some people are too blinkered and stupid to reason with.
