Well, I was born in 1999 - my favoruite from '99 has to be the Ferrari 360. There are a few other mentionable ones though, such as the original Zonda and the facelifted Lamborghini Diablo.

Sacrilege!!!! The original (and best) GT-R or Hakosuka is one of the best looking cars ever! (IMO anyway :P) Judge for yourself:

I'm 1969 also, and before I saw your post I thought 246 GT, but then thought too obvious, so I plumped for this because it was half decent and affordable (and still is)...

Capri and Datsun Fairlady launched but never been a fan of the canal barge unbalanched long bonnet look.
So 914 for me, great "Elise/MGF" forerunner packaging, using a common or garden motor and practical boots front and rear.
The bloke who styled the S1 Elise had a Dino at the time. Influenced! and why not.
Bugger forgot one of my favourite cars: 1969

Chin up, 1980 wasn't so bad, especially if you like hot hatches/luxury barges. I was pretty depressed after reading the Wikipedia page but it doesn't take into account new versions of existing models or facelifts. Not sure how it missed the mk3 Escort (including the XR3) though!
