In comparison, this is what a professional car stylist comes up with:

.............'we'll get back to you'.

Hi there long term lurker that finally got around to signing up.

EVO has an Australian edition which mainly uses the original magazines content hence why i dont buy the UK mag anymore.

The latest issue has also shrunk to a smaller size which oddly enough I find more ergonomic when holding in my hands.

The magazine isnt what it used to be but I still enjoy it just not all of it (the Huracan Performante v 360 Challenge Stradale was a good read). Sitll enjoy the photography-that never gets old, in my eyes it's still the standard in that regard. I do miss the more out of the box stuff they did such as putting a Fiat on a trailer towed by a Cayenne Turbo down a dragstrip, articles on high speeds on the Autobahn regardless of the car, losing control of a Koenigsegg on a runway, their road trip to Spa with F40, F50 and Enzo when they had some partnership with Veloqx Prodrive in FIA GT2. That kind of stuff I miss from the current mag. I know most of those examples involve cars I will never own but the way those adventures were written has stuck with me over the years. And it was that writing that made the more everyday cars seem enjoyable to read about also.

It just doesn't feel the same anymore.

Also just unsubscribed after many years. Not totally their fault, think interests have changed so not the same 24/7 car guy i used to be. Didn't mind the new paper either!

However the endless supercar variants and the obsession with quoting figures (half an article can be telling us about the engine spec changes) has hammered the nail in the coffin for me.

Recently cancelled as well, but then found out that my local library lets me read it on my ipad via an app. The app has about 100 different magazines and alot of back issues all for free!

In Ye Olden Dayfs you had Lambo/F40/959 as supercars, now every Tomasz, Richard & Harold produces one. If you work in London like me, you see so many supercars, that the headturner isn't a Pagani, but a Escort Mexico or Lancia Delta of my youth.
I work in central London also and this is spot on. I remember when I was younger and seeing a Ferrari or Lambo was an event but nowadays I'd turn my heads towards the Escort or Delta then the (newer) metal/carbon.

I think evo would be rather upset if this became well known hehe

They must get payment in return for making it available but yes i agree it certainly would be nowhere near the normal amount!

That's just it for me. ANOTHER bloody 911. When I were a yoof, a special 911 was a 3.0 Turbo. You never saw one. RS Carrera? Good luck with that. In fact you just didn't see 911's on the road, or very rarely. I've no idea without looking it up, what any of the new ones are. GT3RS? I remember that one from a decade or so ago.

In a Liam Gallagher/Spinal Tap moment I actually thought Fiat were going to make this; I was disappointed to find they aren't and that it's the work of a stylist who just about every car manufacturer should be employing.
Did said stylist take inspiration from a Vauxhall Chevette?

Its called RB digital, you need your local authority to be on the scheme and your library membership card. Can also use it for a limited selection of Audio Books.

It is free, but I'd happily pay not to have to use the RBdigital app. It is the greatest pile of steaming horse manure that I've ever had the misfortune to use and whoever developed it should be taken outside and shot forthwith.

Come on Evo.

We want to buy your magazine.

We want to like your magazine.

Heck some of us have been subscribers since day one (OK that may just be me).

Throw us a lifeline or at least a comment here.

We liked Jethro,Henry, John Simister et al - can we please get back to the quality writing we were used to?

Nick probably knows everyone didn't appreciate his style but can we move on - surely the GT2 has appreciated in value due to Evo content by now ?

I agree it is horrendous but only when (trying) to download a magazine or change one. Once you have it its fairly okay. Until it crashes of course.

But generally i read one magazine then move into the next so dont need to bother the interface too much.

And seeing as i read mbuk, autocar, evo, digital photographer, t3, f1 and playstation magazines i wont complain at all that lot for free and can handle the bad aspects.

They appear to have stopped making evo available after the 1 May 2017 issue. Maybe that's related to my local library's licence, but certainly I can no longer read evo on the app.

It's outlived the original Performance Car magazine where a few of the EVO contributors started out - I wonder how many a month that sold in comparison to current EVO

Just got the latest one. I can live with the format but the dull cheaper paper is terrible, so photography is not nearly as crisp as far as I can see.

Must be your libraries license i have just finished this months. Seems strange though, have you returned the existing ones as i believe you can only have so many at a time?

What he said. And for the love of GOD, get someone in the subs department who knows what tf they're doing! My last issue arrived in August; I've since rung up 3 times and been told that yes, my subscription is all good and the next issue is already on its way.

Yup, returned all my mags. May 2017 appears to be the final version at Surrey Libraries.
