Hey everybody,
I met you a few of you yesterday at the tapas restaurant in Leusden.
I have spoken with the owner of the Ultima and the Vauxhall, and I made some video's.

Well I was a bit busy driving so only a couple of pics I'm afraid...
It all started with the packing of course. Naturally this needed supervision:
Queuing up at the ferry behind a Dutch car...
Billy no mates on the freight deck
Making progress
Passing the time ferry spotting
The first hotel
The hotel goldfish ?!
Weird dinosaur/kangaroo?!
The line up...
And then things improved...
Car hopping
First to the lunch stop - cooling off
If the car fits...
Relaxing in Holland
Another coffee stop
The second hotel
A goat. Really.
There were horses too...
Resting after managing 151mph on the Autobahn
What can I say? Anne and I had a great time and would like to thank you all for the organising, company and fun. See you on the next one?
EDIT: Nearly forgot - the DSR mascot of course

Cob had to leave for the ferry.
Abbey slept in the Cerb. Pops 'n bangs don't upset her She's used to it.
First batch, our friday afternoon meetup at the Berghotel:
My mate Bert and I shared a few beers with the PH-guys staying at the Amersfoort Berghotel. Journo Johnny Tipler next to him brought the 260 presscar.
Sophie and Monaroman Ollie waiting for things to come.
Brian - always grinning because I'm in the Ultima - Crazy of Cookham and Anne enjoying their reds here.
Eric ST and Andy. I fully understand why Anne was not sitting next to this guy.
Saturday morning, fetching the Brits and convoy to Leusden:
5 USA brought the C5.
Lurking in the morning sun: it promised to be a nice day.
I'd met Steve and Sally a month ago at the April Goodwood brekkie: a lovely couple.
The 'cosy' 260 Exige.
After two years - Anglo-Dutch Tunnel Run - it was great meeting Ben San again.
His Jap beef Supra is a temple: 175 mph on the Autobahn though!
Another fine Jap: Aram and Elco's old skool Skyline flamethrower.
More soon.

Johnny writing kind words in the TVR book I got from Dan Rogers.Brians luggage went in the seals!
Early morning at the Berghotel, 260 presscar ready to roll:
The car is a looker but a pain to get into . . .
. . . and even more difficult to get out off!
Everytime it felt like a birth.
Lotus Drivers Guide webmaster Ronald Ringma interviewed Johnny . . .
. . . and sat proud in his smitten new Elan.
I really don't understand why this car is so unloved. It looks good to me and they say it's one of the best FWD cars around.
More . . .
