Ferrari are like the Bush and Obama administrations: they always scream at us saying... "we will make things more efficient, more functional, cheaper, easier, more nimble"; and then they turn around and do the EXACT OPPOSITE- our new world. j

Funny thing is, if this was a one-off built for some billionaire, most of us would be complaining about it not being a full on production run model.

The rear is stunning.

I can't help thinking its more an Alfa Brera than an M Coupe. I actually think it looks ok too.

Well, I've learnt something today. Not about Ferrari, but about suspension.

I actually REALLY like that, that front end would make me move over! Cant help thinking that people will be saying "That's not a proper Ferrari!"
...It is though, isn't it?

I was thinking M Coupe + Brera. It's kind of OK.

Great, a Ferrari for the family, Kids in the back dog in the boot and lets go skiing!!!!

Where this fails, is that at +/-£200k, any prospective owners (im guessing), will own luxury estates / 4x4s with REAL seating for 4 and a proper boot.

If you want a new Ferarri it is a 3rd or 4th (or 5th, 6th....) car and does not need to fullfill practical demands of an everyday car / family wagon.

HOWEVER, I will eat my hat (and shoes and everything else I own) if Ferrari market it as an every day car at say under £100k, then that practicality and 4x4 is totally justified!!! Not bloody likely.
Haven't the time to read the whole thread, but my thought on this is that I love it, and agree with the above post, but I'm hoping it will depreciate like the 456 and then I'll be able to pick one up for about 30k in 7/8 years as a first/second car when I MIGHT be able to afford that much!!!

Just the thing for schlepping up to the slopes with my skis in the back smile

Seriously, the Z3M Coupe and the FF have little in common apart from general layout. The Ferrari seats 4, for a start. The front and rear ends are completely different, including windscreen rake. The length:wheelbase ratios are out, and the overall lines are vastly different. The noses are as different as can be, considering safety and lighting legislation that's had to be passed. Truthfully, these 2 are as similar as a BMW M1 and Ferrari 308 GTB. Or a Lada and an E30 BMW. Or a Volvo S80 and an Audi A6. /rant
Indeed.

Apart from both being two box designs, and most likely capable Grand Tourers, there's very little similarity.

I like them both. smile
