Inspired by my Fiesta ST find, I thought I'd see if there were any Mk 3 Focus ST's with similar mileage. Lo and behold, 89k:

He hardly gets out and about compared to earthdwellers FIL, thats only 55 miles a day. Doesn't sound like the most entertaining retirement either.
Well .. My 83 year old father in law still works running the family business although massively scaled down nowadays to just one furniture shop

He is never without his IPhone/iPad and is always buying and selling

He lives in the west of Ireland about 40 miles outside Galway

He would think nothing of driving there and back twice a day !

Last week for instance he needed a new pair of shoes .. So off he toddled to Marks and Spencer at the Liffey Valley shopping centre in Dublin !

A good 300 mile round trip !

He's always off somewhere buying/selling or just going for the spin smile

We were laughing last week when my Bil found out his reply "what the feck" when he heard how many miles his dad had done in the last year

Still .. He has a zest for life and a purpose which is probably why he is still on a roll at his age

Highest mileage Fiesta ST Ecoboost I've seen, 91k!

Interesting choice for doing 30k miles a year in, looks to have worn them well though!
I agree. Definitely something I'd consider if I had a shorter commute. Wonder what they're like at that kind of mileage?
I'm half tempted. Event tyres not too good but they may have been put on by the dealer for the MOT.

Collecting an unseen 182k mile Ford Focus 1.8 petrol tomorrow. Usually high mileage puts me off for a daily driver but thought I'd have a go at bargain basement motoring! Fingers crossed its a good one.

Hey guys. I love this thread, and I thought I'd share something.

This came into my work recently as a Part exchange. 2014 Peugeot 208 with over 100k on it. 50k a year is pretty good going. As you can imagine, it was an ex learner vehicle. Another thing to note, It never had a service. We gave the owner £2000 for it. Body work was very clean.

Hello all. I thought I'd post an update, as a few of you were fairly interested in what happened to this car. The car has finally gone through the ring, it made £2800. Surprised it even got that high to be completely honest. Nice thing is I get 10% of that, so a cheeky £80 in my back pocket. The joys of being a car salesman. Sometimes we actually win! (most of the time we get fisted at the auctions)

So I did some digging on this in my spare time today to see if someone had clocked it, but to be fair, there are some honest traders out there... He's de stickered the vehicle and put it up for x2 what he paid for it! You'd be mental to pay more than £5000 for that car. http://astradecarsales.co.uk/peugeot_208_diesel_ha...

128,000 in 4 years, reasonably high for the car type?

Both ex-fleet I imagine. The GT86 looks really nice and its had an MOT so cant be clocked.

The Focus had an MOT in January then February of this year which is odd.

I'd buy that at £5000, £6500 seems to steep for that mileage.

Scary how well a modern hatch can hide high miles

I wonder how many other UK petrol Evoques will make it that far.

Strange the fact that the rear seats look somewhat worn as well at the front.
Unusual for high mileage - normally it's just one bod driving somewhere. Also on a 3 door!

The Land Cruisers are in a different league, as far as being able to undertake high miles.
