Not even 100% sure which model it was but it was a Hyundai and looking at their past and present lineup I think it was a Bayon.
Was a smallish thing with P plates on.
We have a Bayon, you really don't see many of them about. Was a smallish thing with P plates on.
It's not a bad car, doesn't do anything exceptionally well, but as a bus for the kids, and as a wet weather runner when we don't want soaking on the motorbikes it's ok. Smaller than our previous Skoda Yeti, but has more luggage space, and cabin space.

Rwd, smooth v6, super build quality, I'd have one over a contemporary BMW or Merc convertible any day of the week. And BMW and Mercedes were making metal-roofed convertibles back then with 3 litre petrol engines, some of which cost less than £400 to tax.
Now they are getting on that tax bill starts to look quite painful.

I think their biggest problem was being in the band for nearly £700 a year Road Tax!

There’s far better wafty convertibles that come to mind which makes the IS250 C a peculiar choice for a used buy.And BMW and Mercedes were making metal-roofed convertibles back then with 3 litre petrol engines, some of which cost less than £400 to tax.
