Would you agree, Tim that in manual, 2nd gear it would blow the Tesla away.
I certainly wouldn’t bet on it. Unless you’ve been in a P100D in Ludicrous Mode you really can’t have any concept of how savagely fast it is. I certainly didn’t and nearly shat myself when I did my first full-bore acceleration. S11Steve said:
Tim, I've just caught up with your LA visits - that Regera is incredible and every credit to the owners for giving you access.
Did you visit them all on the same day?
There was some 'doubling up' of a few things, so for example visiting Manny Khoshbin and Dan Am I were the same day as they are located about a mile from one another.Did you visit them all on the same day?
I couldn't believe how hospitable and generous the collectors were out there, making the opportunities possible and in many cases working around my packed schedule. Of course I'm very lucky but it also opened up the chance to share some incredible cars and (hopefully) great videos.

Rolling race, I would expect it would initially be very, very close before the McLaren starts vanishing into the distance. Shmee said:

Did you see the car throttle video shot with the 'Egg Ghost Squadron guys? It's probably the most cinematic piece carthrottle have ever made, so epic.

It's a fantastic video! But interestingly has 150k less views than their 330d estate performance brakes replacement video.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyupARBzna8
I have been watching a few channels lately where the vloggers have stated that they do not have many / any friends. I found this intriguing as it almost came across as the vloggers starting the channel to make friends. I expect as the channels get more popular they will of course make plastic friendships / acquaintances, but actual proper friendships may be rare. It almost feels like being a vlogger can be lonely due to the time and effort it takes to create content. Does this sound right? Do the vloggers who post here feel it is an accurate thought?

I imagine everyone's favourite TGE will have a video out in the next day or so too.

That's a pity, as it's one of Sam's best videos to date IMO. I had a quick chat with him about it prior to the podcast recording last week (that was good fun, if a tad awkward in places). It's an interesting insight into a world completely alien for normal people i.e. car enthusiasts who might have experienced quick road cars, but haven't experienced quick race cars. Many who get the opportunity to have the Infiniti F1 experience, use it for bragging rights - for Sam I got the impression it was something very special and emotional for him, and the realisation of a lifelong dream. Achieving something that big to you as an individual, often makes it tricky to articulate yourself afterward when it comes to describing it. He's one of the good guys in the YouTube 'community' and it's nice he got the chance to experience something so special.

That was a fantastic video! It's a shame the content is 'too good' for YouTube, it's something that would be better placed on a different platform; Netflix, TV etc.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyupARBzna8

Running a YouTube channel keeps you busy pretty much every waking minute; it takes a lot of patience from partners and family to handle the working hours and I'm certainly very lucky that mine are understanding of this. I think a lot of YouTubers tend to actually have started as quite quiet people to begin with purely because that's where the time was found anyway to use YouTube as a platform for sharing content.I don't think I ever feel 'lonely' though, in fact quite the opposite because there are always people I've met at different events to bump into again wherever I go. They may well come more under the acquaintance category than true friends but I do what I can to meet up with longer term friends when I do come home on brief occasions.

Smee are there any Vloggers you like to watch?
STG is my favourite, I dip in and out of others where I can find time based on what looks like it'll be interesting - and I'm quite good at detecting clickbait and ignoring it.North West Tom said:
Shame that he's gone with a generic clickbaity title on one of his biggest and rarest opportunities of his career.
I don't feel that's fair, watch it for the content, it's a mega video.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
