Where is the white line in that scenario?

I get this all the time. I've always assumed that some people find it easier to park with another car to help them align to a space, rather than the white lines on the ground.
You win the PH prize for the first person to identity the correct answer.

I can't be the only one who has been looking for Mokka's to park next to when I'm visiting the supermarket surely?!

I went to buy some wood in the van today, near the back of the reasonably busy car park there was a Porsche partially in 4 spaces. I thought what a dick as I drove past.... then I remembered this thread and looped around the car park or park next to him. Looking at it now I'm regretting not getting a bit closer. Cheeky bd folded in my wing mirror to get in his car and didn't put it back biggrin

Somewhere under the transit I would think.
This is the other side.

I'm parked within the lines, in a busy carpark. If anyone needs their car vandalising from the 2 of us, its not me.

No your being a deliberate dick by your own admission. It’s not busy at all and you even wanted to park closer. So your a dick and I’d have broke the mirror off or let a tyre down for you. A little revenge present

Well if you think I'm lying and the carparks half empty there's really not much I can say to convince you biggrin.

Do you think being in 4 spaces is reasonable?

We go to Spain quite a bit and most seem to park like that, white lines mean nothing, and as for parking straight in a bay, forget it.

That nails the van drivers guilt.

Hang on.
If you are being an utter tool and deliberately parking like a total dick, you deserve to be inconvenienced.

I always park next to other cars, and always back in.
Family are former police, lonely cars are apparently the biggest theft target. Not only that, if your away from other cars and something happens to you out of view of others, less chance of people noticing and coming to your aid.

Wow, so you carry a valve tool to scrape peoples cars and you break wing mirrors and puncture tyres of anyone who transgresses your parking rules?

Proper internet tough guy!

You might notice that there is a support column at the front of the van, which would prevent the van driver from parking any further to the right than they have done.
