Also, it was already posted Sunday. But I'm not surprised it was missed amongst the internet one-upmanship over a mini roundabout situation hehe

Yup was missed,

I quite literally went to Youtube, put in dash cam and posted the first decent one as I wanted to move things on from the roundabout hehe

My view is that both the biker and the biker were in the wrong, but I would love to know what the PH massive think: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWURncxgm5I

I would have thought the biker was in the wrong for undertaking, but then again the cyclist appeared to be travelling straight ahead and made no form of check or signal before swinging right.

Sort of agree but mostly the cyclist was in the wrong. Straight through a red light, goes to the left of the lane to turn right and he doesn't signal. Actually the cyclist is in the left lane just before he turns right!

If he hadn't jumped the red this would have never occurred.... I'm blaming the cyclist.

The cyclist had control of the lane so had the right to go straight on or turn to the right. The biker should not have tried to over/undertake the cyclist in that lane, thus, the biker is at fault.

The cyclist did move slightly into the other lane before swinging over. It is still daft for the biker to push that pass through like that.

The biker was too desperate to get back ahead after the cyclist jumped the red light. He was wanting to get one up on the cyclist.

Biker all day long, the fact that lycra boy swung out a bit should have alerted Valentino Rossi that something was up. When I used to ride that sort of thing always set my spidey senses off.

Punishment pass backfired. Conduct of Cyclist racing through junction should have been all the warning the Ninja rider needed to stay away from the Cyclist. Harley rider not racing off of the lights to catch up with the Cyclist rolls by seconds later.

Harley rider should have stopped and informed the Ninja rider of the error of his ways and then the Ninja rider may not have uploaded his feckwittery to YouTube?

'It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it'? Ninja boy gets two lessons for the price of one.

I'd say 50-50 - the cyclist is a knob for not indicating, or thinking about the motorcycles behind him (not like he couldn't hear them). Biker is a knob for trying to pass so aggressively, and handling it like a complete douche.

To be honest though, the kind of biker who uploads stuff to youtube (especially in the US) tend to be over-aggressive weirdos. Most of the US clips are people who stray 6" into their lane and they go mental and start smashing wing mirrors.

Totally the cyclists fault.

Biker very clearly slows down when approaching the cyclist on right lane and has no intention to pass, cyclist then moves into left lane and biker them accelerates in an empty lane.

Cyclist then without looking or signalling changes lane.

Unless was a right only lane, but even then, cyclist needs to check clear before changing lanes.

The description to that video leads me to think that Ninja boy thinks that the roads are playgrounds to play silly games on:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y__qWaXp-gE

The SUV was no match for the Ninja? He's looking to make a point on the roads and possibly compensate for some inadequacy. I am not sure the attitude he displays in his videos or the descriptions of his videos do motorcyclists many favours. It makes me feel unproud to be a motorcyclist. I can disassociate myself from motorcyclists like him by buying a Royal Enfield Interceptor and a waxed cotton Barbour?

That he's disabled comments on his YouTube videos may also indicate he's a bit of a prat with self esteem issues.

Each has some responsibility for the accident, but I would give the motorcyclist the biggest share of the blame.

The cyclist changed fully into the lane on the left, then swung without looking back into the lane on the right.

Any moderately alert 2-wheeled rider would (OK, should) have seen that coming.

Yep, though that is quite a common theme running through most accidents.

This. Poor lane positioning from the cyclist, don't give someone the opportunity to be somewhere where you don't want to be. But the motorcyclist was clearly too hell bent on the punishment pass. Had it been a HGV swinging out into the next lane I doubt the motorcyclist would have done what they did.

Lucky to have only struck a glancing blow or everything would have been rather more serious.

How much do we think having a camera attached to his helmet is influencing his riding?:
