You won't believe how common that is. We're taught to always look right first at work then left, and right again before pulling out. It makes you look at other people at junctions and the amount who pull out then look right is staggering

The bit at 3:48 reminds me why I hate multi-lane roundabouts when I'm cycling. Keep to the left and you will get cut up, go in the "inner" lane and guaranteed some joker will be up your chuff the entire way round...and then they'll cut you up.

On a general note...what is the rationale of driving headlong towards an obvious incident and then braking at the last second? You can see cars about to pull out of junctions a mile off yet the Dashcammer still barrels in and then emergency brakes as though it has come as a shock to find another vehicle in their vicinity.

Cammaraahhhhhhhhh and general inability to recognise the obvious thing 3 seconds away, sadly. Much better to be "right" and in an incident than avoiding it altogether.

Also not compatible with the Highway code avoid an incident if you can.
Wouldnt make good cam though

Just a terrible piece of driving.

About the same standard mix

30% dash cam wkers trying to make a point out of nothing.
30% dash cam wker having an accident or near miss that really shouldn’t have been if they didn’t have the observational skills of Steve wonder.

The rest genuine accidents or near misses.

Loved the parking of the large van on a blind corner just dumped in the middle of the road. Bloody brilliant.

@ 8.00. Anyone a clue what the car being driven is?

Edit, just seen Piginapoke's post, a good call.

Looks like the car in the video has a central hinge for the bonnet, Kalista has a single piece bonnet, hinged at the rear, from memory. Could it be a Marlin Roadster?

Pretty sure it's a Marlin; probably a roadster.

I think it's a roadster of some kind. I'm going with a Marlin.

More importantly, what was going on in that video to warrant it being uploaded? The focus appeared to be turning left then right across the Marlin but stopped before doing so.

Definitely. My brother built one, he used a capri 2.8i engine and then turbo charged it. The car was undriveable and got way too hot. So he took the turbo off and sold it.

Marlin is a good shout, the Panther doesn't have the central hinge, you're right. I'll hand in my PH badge at Reception.

In these videos, does the background musak give a clue to the driving style of the cammer?

Yep, good call! Stevie Wonder driving is definitely right, it's the 40% where the other drivers are doing something totally unexpected and you can't help but get involved that worry me.

This. I was fully expecting the Golf to re-appear in rage mode.
