And now, a smattering of Maserati:

Oooh interesting!
Just last Friday I called about a Ghibli II, unfortunately the dealer was overbooked for the weekend so couldn't go see it. Hoping to go sometime this week if I can get time off work.

Anyway, the dealer didn't have any pictures but the car is green on green. I had only searched the internet briefly, but couldn't find one with a green interior to see what it was like. After seeing that one, it's not as bad as I feared.

Rust aside, does anyone know what to look out for on these?

So do i.

However my budget will not stretch to an E36 M3 of any variant. Now that the Jaguar has finally departed (what a way too loose £3k....) i have decided to go back to a BMW.

Another E36 to sit alongside my 318is is wanted - not the fastest of cars out there but i love my trusty E36. Sailed through the MOT last week, as i expected, so should be good for another 120k miles.

Just need to find another decent E36 or, if pushed, an E46. Off to the classifieds!!!
There's a '36 328i coupe for sale on the road outside our flat at the moment. £600 and (iirc) it has some test and tax. It's been "adorned" with M3 badges and aftermarket alloys, but it looks ok for £600...

Happy to pop down and get the details if you're interested.

Might be.

I'd had rather a lot of champers when that photo was taken...

Just to follow up...

Tax and test to July. Cream leather with worn driver's bolster. A bit of rust over the rear arch and a few scuffs here and there. It has potential as a snotter:

Looks good. Rough location? Was it Spanish?

Battersea, SW11. Just off York Road.

I'm pretty sure it was spanish. I can check in the morning. Reg is R79 BAU if that helps...

Also, just to be clear... I've only seen the off-side of it. The near-side was too close to the site hoardings to be able to take a closer look.

ETA: WBAC confirms spanish.

Even if it failed its next MOT, it's got to be good for £4-500 in bits / scrap... surely!?
