Is it beyond some drivers comprehension to check the front of the vehicle to ensure its inside their bay, obviously it is.

Wondering if the damage to the side door is an indication of their parking abilities biggrin

Guess we could excuse them as its next to a trolly bay, but I wouldn't do that.

My local rugby club during last weekends 6 nations. There were only 2 parking spaces in the whole car park and they happened to be together. I watched him park. He even folded in his door mirrors! What a total prick.
I was going to say something but he was grotesquely over weight so I figured he'd be dead within a couple of years anyway.

I reckon you bottled it.......................

Not *really* bad parking, but i'll post anyway as it's annoyed me! Parking next to me even when i'm at the back of a deserted car park, especially the drivers side! (and no, mine isn't the civic).

I'm sure there has been many threads on this but I can't seem to find them.

Personally I would have reversed alongside the wall, at least one side of your car is protected then.

Been an unregistered lurker for a good few months but thought this one just had to be posted... The car in question is a "15" plate Zafira Tourer Turbo in what looked to be a pretty decent spec, was parked in a blue badge bay at the local Asda - the Mrs took the photo as we pulled up, the car has hit the bollard and the trolley is hard up against the front bumper / bonnet.
Motobility?
Would guess so - the Mrs has a Motabilty car and we tend to look at the new "price list" each time just to see what's happening within the range offered, have noticed the advanced payments on the Zafira Tourer have dropped an awful lot over the last year or thereabouts so would make sense if it was leased that way.

That's an electric car charging post in the foreground too, with what looks like it could be a Ford Focus parked in its space

A full, overflow carpark, the Focus is also about 4ft too far forward.

A victimless crime then. wink

On the assumption that the BBC Trust have a bonus pot for those employees who over-achieve, perhaps he and others similar to him, should loose a few points for this year?

Well spotted re the Focus(!), have never seen an electric car use them spaces in the last two years... For the sake of honesty at the time of taking said picture we also parked our non electric car in the charging space to the right - all the blue badge bays were taken despite half of them not displaying a badge and the charging bays were the next closest to the entrance... Admittedly two wrongs don't make a right but given there were still some charging bays free I figured no harm, no foul.

The punishment needs to fit the crime.... if thats all just a right mess to clean off and nothing physically damaged then it seems fair game to me.
