Someone has arrived and been unspeakably disgusting, so revolting in their language that I am saddened at PH Tower's response but thankfully the PHers themselves who have responded have been extremely light hearted in comparison and simply mocked a fool to their face.
I actually think this thread shows real PHers in a very good light. The reactions have been like firing golf balls at that idiot Blane when he was in a glass box by Tower Bridge. Innovative and harmless mocking of a massively pathetic buffoon.

I imagine it's akin to the reputation the British have in the Costas?But that's why I think this thread shows PHers in a good light. Some care and intelligence has been put into some mocking responses when you would have expected responses in the same vein of the wierd bloke.

Winter tyres, there seems to be the impression that
A. They should be law in the UK when ever it is below 12 degrees.
B. when it is below 12 degrees and you don't have winters you will die, even though we have managed without this winter tyre fad since cars were frist driven over here.
Law breaking, even if something stupid like a bit of pocket fluff falling on the floor out of your pocket when pulling change out you should be banned from driving and put in jail, yet this is the same forum a few years ago who had the "lapping game" on the motorway, where they would lap MLM's
Agreeing with what everyone else says regarding the subject, don't offer a differing opinion.
The need for everyone to fit in, "I need a watch"....."what you need is a massive big fk off watch for many thousands of pounds, and it must be Breitling, Omega etc and must have jewels and st in them, or we will frown upon you" ....Also goes for, shirts, ties, suits, shoes, random gadgets, what they recommend is gospel and do not suggest otherwise.

People from the outside will always have a view, those who experience PH in the real world another. For all the cringeworthy stuff that does get posted, there is also a quite extraordinary diversity of knowledge and experience and people willing to share that knowledge and time freely. The moderation part of PH works well enough but every now and then someone or something comes along to push the boundaries with a waving fist of fury. We can smile and wave, ban, or poke fun in a (mostly) humourous and non-offensive way.
Frank reminds me more of the Rabbi in The Life of Brian...
