Will this plate pass an MOT?

Mainly Ferrari and GT Porsches.
Ran an E90 M3 until last year. Great dinosaur last of a line car with almost perfectly balanced neutral steering and a fine V8 engine.
Whilst clearly I have never owned and will never own a Chavplate on my cars for obvious reasons of mainly sanity, due to the established associations with Chavplaters and their overall mindset this great car had to go.
Shame.
In the same way I am currently very conflicted on a 991 purchase purely because of Porsche owners, specifically the snobs. Ran an E90 M3 until last year. Great dinosaur last of a line car with almost perfectly balanced neutral steering and a fine V8 engine.

Luckily I treat each individual on their own merits so it won’t actually prevent a purchase if it lives up to the hype.
It’s an adult thing

Yep I can see it would be difficult for you climbing down from your perfect world in your elevated ivory tower and your extremely high horse.Luckily I treat each individual on their own merits so it won’t actually prevent a purchase if it lives up to the hype.

On the other hand I really can't imagine you with such a large chip on your shoulder really being interested in a 991. After all, you must surely remember calling them lairy only yesterday.
I really think you are more suited to your pcpd and chavplated Polo.

Yes, I wouldn’t consider any car with silly coloured wheels and lairy stickers, not my thing but if that’s yours, all power to you (or whoever owns the cars you list eh)
I don’t think I’ve claimed a lofty perch, I’ve never been a snob and can’t think or many worse attributes, apart from ignorance maybe.
I’m still unclear why you keep going on about PCP, Polos and numberplates, perhaps you have some inner desire? If you wanted to be factually correct you could say ‘that awful A4 that you have been given as a company vehicle ’, I’d be with you on that statement.
Luckily it means no compromises elsewhere, especially on personal plates to annoy the terminally frustrated
This is nice...

His favourite ever train has an ID (or something along the lines of) C13 GCR. Indeed, if IIRC he's worked on restoring this loco (The Great Western Railway rings a bell?)
He can't have as no C13 class survived after being withdran from service. If your dad has been involved in restoring/preserving a steam loco it is quite possiible it is ex-GWR one.

We're seeing them tonight, so I'll ask the back story. As I said, I have no interest in trains, so it's recounting the explanation he gave 15 odd years ago, when he got it. 95% certain it's GCR, a v slim chance it is CGR. He can't have as no C13 class survived after being withdran from service.

I was still at school when the last C13 was withdrawn from service.
I'm not aware that there was ever any plan to preserve one but I could be mistaken.

av185, how have you been able to earn so much in life to own a Ferrari and Porsche whilst at the same time getting so wound up on the little things others do?
Wouldn't call illegally butchering number plates solely for vanity reasons simply because the chavplater needs an ego massage due to their failures in life a 'little thing'It is tantamount to fraud. And even worse, fraud by Chavs.
However people want to dress it up, as has been seen on this thread, there really is no other way to describe it.
I admit it is a pet hate of mine but so is any form of fraud or deception. Particularly by penny pinching Chavs who are into illegal activities.
And before all the pro Chavplaters start whining 'it's only a bit of fun' or 'have you never broken the speed limit that is an offence too' 'get a life' blah blah same old chestnut etc, Chavplating is without doubt:
Illegal fakery at it's finest.
And as others have correctly pointed out time and time again Chavplating is no different to the fake Rolex or any fake designer gear Chavs purposely bigging it up to look like something it certainly isn't due to insecurities of their own.
Desperate vanity in fact.
If you cannot afford to buy the real thing by way of a legal proper plate then why bother going down the fake cringeworthy cheapo route?
Unless, of course you are a Chav desperately trying to impress for vanity and or insecurity reasons.
We have all seen episodes of Police camera action over the years where rightly so there have been a number of Plod tugs on Chavplaters with illegally spaced and or butchered plates. One particular miscreant 'B16 BAL' perhaps should be awarded moron of the series in that he was pulled by a rookie traffic PW with his butchered vanity plate reading 'BIG BAL' and seriously thought he had done nothing wrong and thought he could blag his way out of it. But he was quite rightly fined quite heavily btw for illegally displaying an incorrect and butchered plate.
How hilarious would it be if DVLA overnight decided to strictly enforce the number plate display regs and in an instant all the Chavplaters throughout the UK who paid ridiculous money for a random plate purely to illegally butcher and respace it for their own vanity reasons would lose a fortune. :
Can't come soon enough.

Fake factor eleven. Merely an extension of their fake Chavplate in fact.
And of course, as we all know, truly gorgeous girls require no 'enhancements' or 'butchery' whatsoever.
Just like really good plates. Of which, just to remind ourselves, this one is a perfect example:
