Yet HGV driver is hugely pleased when it's pulled. Odd.
Not odd at all, why wouldn't he be pleased that someone driving badly gets pulled?
I agree. I got the impression that you couldn't identify what the bad driving was, just as I wasn't, hence my comment...

Camera car could have been overtaking / speeding for all manner of reasons, e.g injured / sick child in the car and rushing to hospital etc. The Civic driver has no business in Policing the road like that and in such a dangerous fashion, that elderly couple on the pavement could easily have been wiped out. I’m guessing it’s probably not the first time he’s acted like a complete tt. Needs reporting to Police and hopefully a ban will teach him a lesson.
Injured/sick child is no excuse to speed to the hospital.
Yes it is.

I could almost agree with the lorry performing a PIT manoeuvre on that bell end (is bell end 1 or 2 words?)

Actually that comment was supposed to go with this video.

There is a couple of comments claiming to be the husband of driver, and claiming two seperate faults; overtightened studs and watts linkage failure. Looks rather reckless to me, high speed swerving left to undertake/make a point. It looks like control has already been lost before the wheel comes off.

Think something gone on before that as that lorry pulled back in almost as soon as the cab was past the van looked very early from the video.

Nice bit of tailgating. Agree he must have pissed off the van driver earlier, but van drivers actions are totally out of order.

Some people really need their head checked. Even if something had happened, maybe a simple error on the HGV part or even the vans part, who knows and honestly who cares.

Why the fk does someone think its a sane thing to start going toe to toe against a HGV. Even if I have had an issue on the road which in 15 years I could count on 1 hand I have never deicded I will "go after that car" or "i am going to ps off the HGV". #screwloose

I don't think anyone watching the video can say for sure. The driver may have been pulled for pulling out in front of the truck but that seems a stretch as it wasn't remotely close. Who knows what happened off the video though, maybe the police were already looking for him from a prior incident.

And yet you don't hear the HGV driver backing off at all, so couldn't have been that close.

Oh I completely agree, anyone that jumps on the anchors on purpose in front a HGV deserves a 44 tonne kick up the arse! Just wondering what went on as the HGV also swerves over a bit just as he’s passing the van, van probably one of these go slows then as HGV overtakes speeds up, HGV pulls back in and repeat.
