There’s a pack mentality in here/forums in general. The initial link to the Facebook video of the Extons was posted and there were lots of positive posts. Then the usual suspects popped up, started with the digging and unpleasantness and they all joined in (including the expected and very dull ‘ooh Beefy is in their back pocket’ post)

Hence why I’ve largely kept my mush shut as if I engaged with them it would most likely end up with me getting another ban

I skipped to 8mins and it didn't make me watch the add. Seen it's a G, switched off. Nice car.

Ads for me were at the start, 1.30 in, 5 in and then 2 more between 8 and 11. A bit much.

I thought shmee said it was something he had no control over.... if that is the case it is rubbish as surely lots of viewers dont want to sit through them. I like to put the videos on when doing something else so I dont want to be near ipad to skip ad all the time.

At the risk of being accused of a) being a nasty bully and/or b) jealous, I just don’t get the G wagon. They’re pig ugly and stupidly expensive to the point that they seem to be more about the price than the car itself. The neons inside the new ones look like a closing sale in Maplins. Obviously just my opinion and clearly some folk love them.

Go back and watch the first couple minutes. They clearly said ‘had there been a ad yet’ and the camera guy said yes. 2. This was a couple minutes in.

Aww bless, more keyboard mashing. My point was about the pack mentality, never said I have an issue with others having a different opinion to me. That’s expected as I’m a rather awkward, abrasive and contrary prick most of the time!

You do choose the ad time stamps, but you don't choose what ad plays.

I remember when nobody put them in, then maybe 3-4 years ago there was a move towards a mid roll at around half way through a video if it was 15 mins long or so, but now or course people go overkill. My norm is to stick one in a video that's under 12 mins, a second if it's up to 20 mins and then one more per 10 mins or so.
