Surely just an attempt to manipulate the E39 upwards as someone mentioned ^^^^ - "Look at this low miles M5 for only £30k! - Bargain!"

Obvious to PHers but perhaps not to someone who's getting into the new "asset class" of classic cars - don't worry though he's got a diversified portfolio with a bit of crypto thrown in!
+1 greedy feckin chancer, thats a £3995 car imho all day log.. and i speak as a 535i manual owner so my interest is well and truly vested!

£8-10k for a handbuilt mid-engined car with proper rallying heritage?

I know a lot of the 'overpriced' part is based on opinion, but you're on drugs if you think that's all one of these should be worth laugh

It's overpriced compared to similar cars for sale, but not to the tune of £90k like you're suggesting

If someone is prepared to pay it then it's worth it.

Just not for me, but then I don't get the hype over old Fords either, each to their own.

World would be a boring place if we all liked the same thing.

It's a mid-engined Group B homologation Renault 5 turbo - NOTHING like a normal Renault 5 turbo. A few bags would never have got you a tatty one at any point in time, these have always been expensive and collectible cars.

Oh and Bertie, that brown Renault is closer to a high level competition car than any you own smile

Think I'd much rather have any of his cars over that.

About 10 times that I think? I know one sold for £150,000 a few years ago.
