To my mind that's a rare example of a modern car looking good in a 'period' livery, usually they look too blobby and generally a bit crap

Autoworld in Brussel?

Edit: Or more likely: Interclassics 2018, also in Brussel.

Yes and I went to see the Pegaso display at Autoworld before going across the city to the Expo.

Thread with pics at the weekend ,hopefully.

Mmmmm, or maybe not a daily driver. Circa 300 miles covered in the last year. Could be just driving it around the block every day I suppose....

Not a Supercar, but a rare classic and still with us from the 80’s, a Cavalier convertible...

I’d argue over the classic bit smile but totally agree in its rarity. I last saw one of these - exactly the same colour - in Hanover about four years ago. I’m sure I posted the pictures up here ages ago.
Thanks for clarifying something though - Initially for ages I used to think these were built on the Kadett D platform but on closer look could only be the Mark II Model.

Hope it’s garaged though - roof never looked watertight to me!

Wouldn't it be Ascona rather than Kadett? I'm not that up on more modern GM stuff.

Tough call. Do you drive it every day in the hope that it gets damaged, or hide it away so that nobody has to look at it.

I hated the way these looked when they were launched, and time has not been kind.
Incorrect

Depends on the colour. White doesn’t suit the 959 very well so it does look a bit weird.

The 959 I used to drive was silver. Looked stunning. And is a fabulous car to drive.

I’m not joining your secrete society but I agree. The 959 looked too much like a badly modified old gen 911. For me it’s where the boot line sinks into the extension that doesn’t work. In a similar era you could have an f40 or xj220 which both captured me more.

Although I never thought the XJ220 looked any good either... F40 is a nice looking thing, but I don't know why Ferrari insists on taking the carpets out of their cars. The others never felt the need, and their cars were fast too.

Believe me - once you ease yourself into the driving seat, start the engine & press the loud pedal any issues you might have regarding the looks will swiftly be forgotten.

The 959 is a magnificent car.
