Really funny rolleyes
At which percentage of engine failures you decide not to buy a car with an engine? 1.6 16V HDi? 1.6 THP? BMW N52? Porsche 911 996/997? They are enough good engines at good price not to play russian roulette... Each to their own.
the car is 13 years old lol. Surely you can see how you orginal statement is, lets be honest rubbish.

I will not talk more with you, as obviously, you don't know anything about engines and manufacturing.

Hope your car will stay a good shed.

Can a shed be £10k ? It’s 15 years old so
Old enough.

If so I’ll op pics up.
Not at £10k, no. 15 years old doesn't mean shed. Oldest I have at present is 18. Pretty sure it wouldn't qualify.

£10k? A shed? Jesus, maybe if your average car buying budget is £150k, but not for normal people. You can just about buy a new car for that.
Shed is a state of mind to me. Leave it anywhere, a scratch or knock literally doesn’t raise the blood pressure.

Subjective but that might be £10k to someone with a fleet of super cars. My Spanish car I consider a shed and would probably be sub £2k in the U.K. but being Europe it’s £6k’s worth of shed.

I thought you were going full LJK/Lanchester and talking about the person who provides tyres for your steed/shed.

Would a decent size hatchback not do? Dont get me wrong it wasn't ideal but I used to get my hand &powertool bags, chop saw,hop up,110 lead, pin gun in the boot of an astra. A 6ft level across the seats and some trestles in the back wink would make your car search a hell of a lot easier smile

Possibly. I just thought an estate would be more suited. As I’ve one of those Milwaukee Packout and then a Backpack and Cable Rods and Hop Up etc.

I had a 2001 W210 - so same model, same engine, previous bodywork version. It lasted me for 70,000 miles and was then sold to a Lithuanian carpenter at 220,000 miles for £500.
Nice wafty drive, steering ok but slightly a case of aim and wallow, 35 mpg, nice place to be. Quiet engine, good sound system.
I folded the back seats down and transported a 2 metre long flat packed oak table home in it on one occasion.

I was speaking to my Dad, he’s offered to let me use his Nissan Leaf as he works from home. He believes that it’s an unnecessary cost. To use it to just get to work. But I’ve found some other cars:

You need to get on Facebook marketplace. I live in Liverpool and there is plenty of choice within a 20 mile radius. Anything from Megane estates to Volvo v50’s.

I’m not on Facebook, I’m not going to join it just for that. I’ve heard a few horror stories of cars being sold and they are just scrap, or mis-sold or the car is missing information and the sellers are less than helpful.. someone said it try motors.co.uk

Yeah. It looks a good car. I’ve seen a few of Matts videos. He seems a good lad. As I say it’s a pain trying to find something I can fit my Packout in and also tool chest and hand tools.
