That's nice.
A friend of mine built a similar Golf with knife-edge crank etc and Nitrous injected it SOLELY to outdrag a friend's Cerbera. He died a couple of weeks ago and I believe his family are just going to get shot of it. frown

That is a great car, and what this thread should surely be about. We've seen some asthetically wonderful cars on nice rims and augmented ride heights, and the debate will go on and on about whether the changes are for the better or worse - many can arguably be equally at home in the good and bad threads. Time to get back to basics. My favourite cars in this thread at the ones whose mods run under the skin as much as (or more than) outside.

Sorry to hear that old chap frown

Maybe you should purchase said car and perhaps out-drag someone on here. Cerbera owners come plenty in here! biggrin

I have no room, sadly. He died without making a will and everything goes to his children I believe (divorced) and neither is interested in cars so it's just a big divvy-up. He was halfway through a major Chevy engined Stag project too.....

yes

A perfectly modified car for me is a standard shell with a bit of rust, plenty of trolly dings and a ridiculously modified engine evil

Always thought to myself about doing something in the near future using a Fabia 1.4mpi (hatch or estate) combined with a Octavia VRS lump chucked in while keeping the original fabia 1.4 badges on and rolling on steelieshehe

The paddle shifters aren't standard, and it would require even more modification if you actually want to use it.
