Long way for most of you to Llandysul! Lovely part of the world though (I admit to a little bias here).
What's the device on the dash at the bottom of the drivers side pillar? Is it a taxi meter?
Speed camera detector. Snooper I think.

Good spot. Who on earth uses a T6 as a taxi though?!

Done well to get to 72k on that gearbox, which has a spectacular borkage rate in T6s, both S80s and XC90s.

Worth a punt at the money though.

I really like that car, and he's open to offers. There aren't many buyers for these anywhere, let alone when you live in the far corner of Wales so a cheeky £1250 might bag that!

I'm glad I'm not the only one. There's something Saville-esque about motorists that refer to the car as a 'she' or, even worse, give names to their cars. The one-marque club site forums are full of this sort of pre-teen-girl nonsense and I find it utterly nauseating.

Totally agree - only 5 year olds should name cars.

Weird interior photography aside, that looks absolutely corking, much want.

Are we looking at different cars?

The interior is hideously purple in parts and the trim is covered in stick on carbon fibre wrap which isn't quite stuck on. It has a notchy manual gearbox (all E39s should be auto unless displacement is 5 litres), heavy steering and has been to the moon and back. Twice.

Ahm OOT.

And you've all seen the rot on the bootlid and that slim panel below the opening, right?

That's a munter.

I'd have to retrofit some nicer trim, but for bottom of thread budget a working E39 with some recent work, 58% moon miles, comfort seats in a fetching hue sounds good to me. Manual isn't ideal of course, and exterior festering I'd run a managed retreat.

It does sound like a decent example. As an aside the company 'adcock' mentioned in the advert sponsor my Rugby team, due to some poor planning our strip had 'adcock' written on the ar*e for a couple of seasons.

And the sills. And weird yellow paint on the rear bumper.

I think I'd rather walk, frankly. I'd be scratching myself when I got out of it.

Just back from a ski-trip in Bulgaria and catching up today...
Bulgarians drive barges, there's no question about that, lots to see, I'm told they're dying out though, lots of logans and hyundais taking over a bit like Morocco.

There are a few big-shot guys around who steam around in black top of the range German metal and seem to be afforded the Yakuza style privilege of being able to shoo other road users out of the way. I saw a pair of Brabus G-Wagen at the airport and some guy staying at our hotel had a family Maybach along with a GL to carry is entourage of huge goons.

We hired what Alamo call an "SUV", it was a fairly dreadful Suzuki S-Cross SX4 (fwd), I was glad to see our E-Class when we drove home.

I would love to meet the person that spec'd this!!!

I love how austere and straight-laced the exterior is... then PURPLE interior!

Was this even a legit BMW trim colour or do we think its been retrimmed?
