Didn't someone say on another thread he turned down £8mn for it? Can't find it now to check
Wow!

I bought one for a customer in 1196/7 for under 500k ... Pretty good investment .
1196? did they have cars back then?

Nice cars but can't see enough of the garage... Love the wood, are the doors roller?

That needs the front wall there to lift on the push of a switch, and find another garage full with fire arms etc, or, paint a pic of this on it:

It was a knackered old sectional with a steel braced asbestos roof, we built a new garage in front and clad the old one

I would imagine he's been offered a LOT of money for the F1 - multiples of the original price.
I bet. Conservative value estimate, £5m for the pair?

That would be a very conservative estimate. AIUI, the F1 is worth more on it's own - considerably more!

That's a really nice collection of cars you've got there. I've got a soft spot for Alfas but as a garage it's just a big warehouse so not exactly the best garage on Pistonheads. wink

New house ... New project smile
Made some progress on garage:
-plaster boarded the roof
-boarded the loft
-added down lighters
-tiled the floor
-some old kitchen cupboards, painted black (in the corner)

all in about £300, the tiles are wickes cheapest, but good, have jacked up a car on them already with no issues

a nice clean dust free, and warmer garage for projects
