Blimey - I guess you must have had to have bought one at the higher price though to start with ?

Seems a strange way to play knowing you are going to be made offers as the clock winds down ?
Yeah I think so. It’s why I only buy one full price.

Has anyone had any experience with Regal Comps, I am smitten for M cars. Their T&C's don't look great as they don't guarantee draw dates. I was thinking about buying some tickets and sending a postal.

Unless you live in Ireland I don't think you have a chance of winning by the looks of it, also why do loads of the winners photos look like photoshops?

Good experience lately with DCG and postal entries - had some old non-barcoded stamps that needed used up, and sent off a batch of postcards last week and this week - all entered into the draws.

Apparantly him that won the lambo has won 5 cars and a motorbike with them

He said if I win the lambo I’ll pick it up in a Batman outfit to which they said we will hold you to that, then he goes and wins!

Don’t know something just doesn’t seem right to me

Speaking from my quick research, I have just looked at all the entry lists from the competitions I've entered recently on DCG and searched for his name. He's pretty much maxed out entries on every single one of them.

Once you win say a ~30k car, it can almost become a 'business' to play again, maxing out entries using the cash you previously won in the hope you'll win again (and big!).

Disclaimed: I've never won a single penny but only buy 1 ticket here and there!

On which website?

There are a few recurring very big winners on most sites, you see it the most on Elite albeit on the smaller prizes.

I've never looked at entry lists but how difficult is it to plumb his entries in excel and sum up his costs vs returns (wins)?

Like you I only have a flutter once or twice a month, I'm not prepared to bet my mortgage payment on anything.

Nice one and the watch is one of my favourites - definitely a keeper!

Don't know about that many with DCG, I know he's won at least one with them. But he's also won alot of cars with the other sites from memory. Probably just ploughs in loads of entries as someone else said.

I've won a couple of cars with DCG (admittedly nothing as extreme as the Lambo!), even then I had a couple of people complain that I was a repeat winner despite 18 months between the wins and many many maxed out comp entries in the meantime.

Its a bit tricky to do that for DCG as you can only view entry lists if you enter the competition. Presumably put in place to stop looking at other people's gambling habits unless they are playing!

That used to be the case for a short period, anyone can look at them and search them now though.

News to me. Well, it seems the winner of the lambo on DCG has been going all in on most comps for a while.

It's why I don't bother with them really, it's the same winners again and again who keep re-entering and maxing out their allowance then doing the same with a different account etc.

I can see the thinking behind this, if the comp has 2000 tickets and you max out and buy 10 tickets then you have a higher chance of winning compared to some one that only has 1 ticket. Its probably why some of the people that max out win regularly.

If they have won a car and sold it then they could we be reinvesting the winnings, which gives them an advantage over someone like me that got 1 ticket.
