One of my Morgan attempts was 4 Plus 4.

It reminds me of the DMC-12 De Lorean or whatever the correct answer for that one was. It's a slight annoyance when it comes down to what's typed in rather than whether you know it or not.

I've yet to check today's.

Annoyingly in 4 today. Skirted around the edges with 2 guesses and passed on second one.

Rather annoyed to have typed out... Ford Sierra Cosworth in full only to go back and change 'Sierra' to 'Escort' before submitting my guess ...

That's strange because I didn't put those letters at all and I got it.
I just put the make, model and engine builder.

In one, but took four attempts to write the answer in a way the site deemed acceptable.

I've yet to check today's.

But the Morgan isn't - and never has been - known as a "4 Plus 4". So it's wrong. I can't remember what the actual answer was for the DeLorean, but given that they only ever made one car and it wouldn't accept things like DMC DeLorean, that one was brutally harsh.

After days of striking out (including grumbling over Morgan nomenclature, in which I claim a moral victory), I've bagged it in two today.

My first guess was its younger and even more joyrider-prone stablemate, before kicking myself after realising that the paint colour ought to have given it away.

I did the same. And then with the second go went only slightly younger with an Escort RS only before kicking myself at the moonstone blue.

(I think) it’s because it is a normal Sierra RS Cosworth but it has an RS500 splitter fitted
