I give you the Korres P4. Awesome off road vehicle but also a beast on the road. Not in mass production yet but hopefully soon will be.
taken from wiki "The Korres is powered by a 7.0 litre LS7 V8 Corvette engine which produces 505 horsepower and is capable of reaching 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds with a maximum speed of 300 km/h (186 mph)"
little YouTube linky of its capabilities: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QB4PolRV_JI

Its a UMM Alter.
A Portuguese utility vehicle that was made from the mid 60's through to the early 90's, initially only used for military service... later on sold to the general public. When i was a kid, an uncle of mine had one of these, on slightly raised suspension - it went most places!
Powered by a 2.5 litre Diesel engine that was produced by Peugeot. Not sure if that was a good thing, as i never drove one... but i recall it being pretty nippy!
Sat in the back of one of thse things wilst a frenchman with 0 mechanical sympathy catapulted us up the side of a mountain near Prades (france) the doors were loose in the frames it smelt like there was no coolant in it it made the lada Niva 4x4 seem refined![](http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p506/LewisP12/UMM/UMM2_zps6cecf8cb.jpg)

That is cool in a 70s sci fi tv show car way. The lower front needs some neater styling though.

Here's one I'd not encountered before - the Brubaker Box from the 1970s.
