Bumping this back to the top with this effort, little C1 decides to park in the middle of a 2 spacer near a shop, i parked up behind them but was still a few foot over the corners of the bay/someones drive! Luckily i was only there for around 30 seconds.
Why don't these people just park at the end of a bay

There is always the possibility they parked up behind someone who has now gone... Why don't these people just park at the end of a bay
The more annoying one though is when they park about 1-2m from the end, then there isn't enough room for a full car at the other end and you *know* it's just bad parking.

Why they would feel the need? is what I find irksome.

Managed to get in the passenger side without touching the Focus.
When it's eventually finished I'm dreading trying to park my GT40 in a normal car park.
This fantastic piece of dumping (in no way should it be considered 'parked') was on a 90 degree bend, and as you can see, virtually opposite another parked car, thereby cutting the width of the street to about 30% of its original size.Its about a metre from the kerb!

Made me chuckle as well. Parked on the apex of a bend, on approach from the rear I dropped to a snails pace as forward vision was almost zero, but what made me laugh was the name on the side of the van, "Wiseman", our local dairy.
He was parked up to visit his pal.

The spaces should be at least as wide as the average car + 20% to allow for door swingage on at least one side. And at hospitals, what's the chance of visitors arriving who need a bit more help, need the doors opening wider to get out etc?
