It is a Maybach. A SW38 cabrio by coachbuilder Spohn.

When I looked at the photo earlier, I thought it might be late 40s early 50's German and Googled Maybach as well as Hortch etc, but as the car didn't resemble anything that came up I assumed I was wrong.
