Maybe a bit modern for this thread, but people seem to rate them and it looks a nice example. 100hp.

This little Fiesta looks an absolute cracker and won't hang round long, I dare say.

If it's in good fettle and the purchaser sees it as more than just a means to an end, a to b, type of car then I think the price is reasonable, subject to the obligatory bargaining!

Had a very similar one I paid £140 for. Genuinely a more fun car to drive than the 205 GTI it replaced, by far the best steering I've ever felt on a car. Awesome cars and the 1.25 is a brilliant engine

Great car. Had two 1.25 Fiestas back in the day.

Ford sold a ton of them in that amethyst colour in the 1990s!

A shame it's the uglier (but no doubt better) facelift, but that does look like quite a nice thing to waft around in if your annual mileage/use types fit it..

Looks like it's got very comfortable seats; just enough bolstering without needing you to have 9" hips.

Were they really 22 grand back in 96?! Wow.

That 4 speed auto is troublesome isn't it? I recall driving one and finding it a very poor match for the rev happy Duratec V6.

They are bloody ugly though!

From the front, yes. The earlier cars are much prettier and have aged much better. You don't see many on the roads these days, though.

I love the Fiat Coupe, especially in broom yellow. When they came out in the Mid 90’s I couldn’t afford one. When I could afford one I had a son and required a larger boot to accommodate his pram.

I still hanker after a Fiat Coupe, especially the 4 Cylinder Turbo.

The five pot turbo is a glorious engine, one of my favourite engines in one of my favourite cars.

Funnily enough my 16-year old son, for whom I am going to buy a car soon, said yesterday he would like a Mk1 Panda. I wonder if he fancies purple though...

I have no need for that Panda but so much want for it. Giorgetto Giugiaro said it was his best work.

I'd forgotten just how long the original Panda soldiered on for - 23 years!

I wasn't a fan of this model, I prefer the 2003-11 but I would still be tempted as purple cars are brilliant.
