If I were the cyclist I would have chosen to ride further out into the lane, but this is PH and the majority think cyclists are scum that shouldn't be on the roads. Cue another page of cyclist bashing.

In this particular case there is a fair chance that clip would have ended very differently if the bike was further out into the lane.

I'd have been on the path, a parked car blocking it is less inconvenient than hospital.

If there is no cycle lane then I almost always cycle on the path, unless it's obviously very busy with people. The police have never even given me a second look. Possibly because I'm not trying to achieve a personal best on Strava at the same time.

It looks to me like some people feel like they're just carrying straight on, and don't notice that it's a roundabout. I had a similar case on Saturday through some roadworks, where the only indication that it was a "roundabout" was a temporary sign. I was turning right, so I had priority. As it happened, the car in question did give way, but it was obvious that they were slightly confused.

Looks like he’s just behind the A pillar blind spot on approach not really much to do with the roundabout itself just people not having a good look.

Had it not been a bbc presenter at the wheel the article would have mentioned the value and performance of the car and implied that the “supercar” driver was going too fast and generally being reckless.

TBH I'm more offended that someone thinks my grasp of the written language is such that I wouldn't preface the offending word with 'the' and use lower case, were I minded to be overtly racist

Is that a temporary roundabout sign? It looks like a white circle with a red border that someone painted some arrows on, hidden behind a give way sign among a load of cones. The road markings are in desperate need of paint too. Without seeing what else you get on approach to that it is not that obvious you are approaching a roundabout. Obviously if there is a lot going on you should slow down, but if that isn't happening they need to sort that out.
