The folk that stick M badges on are probably the sort that dress like this:

I checked online. Rather predictably, that 5-Series is a 520D.

And there should be a bigger space between the C and 4. If I was going to misbadge, I'd at least google how it should look.

Question is , when at the pub does that person tell people what he drives or does he tell people what the badges say he drives ? Was always curious about that.

An Audi S6 (last model) came the other way while I was in traffic, the first thing I spotted was the halogen headlights and I thought "I'm pretty sure the S6 would have had xenons or LEDs" the thing that confirmed it for me is it sounded like a tractor as it went past. So a diesel S6 with halogens (I am aware the latest model is diesel). The driver had his lean on like he was a gangsta.

Yesterday I was behind a blue RS5, now this tweaked my suspicion as it looked pretty ordinary (though a nice shade of blue) and was barely faster than my Astra coming off a roundabout. I was sad enough to check the reg later from my dashcam. Very surprised to see it was a 2.0TDI.

You'd think they'd at least get a petrol model so their sports Audi doesn't sound like a tractor. I'm not putting VXR badges on my 1.6CDTI.

Probably “Mercedes AMG mate” like people with a 118d msport refer to it as “BMW msport mate”

It's all quite simple. He owns the M3 version of the 320d.

He used to own a C220 CDI AMG 'C22 AMG'

And a Poverty Spec Brabus - the very definition of juxtaposition spin

Interesting that the owner is not ashamed he has to drive a diesel 'cos that would be the first badge to go along with ALL the others.

There was a disagreement over the legitimacy of a GTTDI Golf Mk5 I previously posted but this time I’m almost certain there was not an R version of the Mk4 Polo. I’m aware there is an R-line now but the Mk4 only had a GTI version.

Someone had removed the P and first A from PRIMASTAR clap
