Spotted today... on Ebay...does this count? Its certainly rare

With it being eBay I'm surprised it's not described as "light damage"...............

Not something you expect to see sitting in the corner of a supermarket carpark in Sandhurst. Nice gloss grey Aventador S Roadster with a strange number plate and the darkest window tint I have ever seen (and it’s not a trick of the camera, the windscreen is also tinted the same level as the side windows)

Ps. For a minute I thought it may have been some sort of lifesize model for display due to the midnight black windows hiding the interior but it did appear to have all the oily bits under the skin and the tyres were driven on

No photo, so I used a library picture - I saw a Renault Sport Spider in Holland at the weekend (including having the rather awkward roof erected as shown), the first I ever saw outside of a race meeting paddock. I would have fallen off my chair in surprise but I was driving at the time. Any owners on here by the way?

I wonder how frustrated that makes the police over here. The windows were so dark that if you crouched down and looked 'through' the car you could not see any light at all from the other side. Must be pretty dangerous to drive it at night with a windscreen that dark?

Qatari. Common for them to have them in the last couple of years.

Spotted in the West End on the way in to work. Had a chat with the owner David - really nice guy. One of 99 apparently.
I used to work for David - I was there when he had it delivered to our office from new. Did he mention the humidor he had built into the armrest?

I know that.

However isn't there a loop hole if the car is only visiting this country and the owner is not resident then it's not enforceable as they cannot give him a ticket/points on his licence? (I doubt he has a UK licence). He must have got the car in the country like that somehow?

Army officer cadet. Gulf states send them for training and they all drive outrageously expensive cars.

I saw this a couple of days ago on New Bond Street in London. Parked outside the IWC watch shop (behind it's own velvet rope!), presumably it is the Merc 300 SL that David Coulthard will race at Goodwood this weekend. It is stunning and I nearly fell off my bike as I went past. No-one else gave it even a second glance...

See here: https://press.iwc.com/the-iwc-racing-team-heads-in...
I’m there this weekend - and now a little more excited too!
Looks like they competed in the Tony Gaze Trophy... and won it, destroying a load of Healeys, Jags, Triumphs and Morgans in the process! A fair fight?!?!?

Not a fair fight - but the front drivers all drove superbly so should be happy with their efforts.

Hi there,

Spotted this yesterday in the local Tesco car park.

Had to Google it as despite being a true petrolhead I simply didn't recognise the car. Turns out is a Vignale Fiat Samantha.

https://www.historics.co.uk/buying/auctions/2015-0...

also another one I had to Google turns out this is a Lotus Elan Plus 2 prototype (albeit a replica).

and this which is one heck of a tow car

Regards

Tim

A few years ago, there used to be 3 of these DB7 Zagato's parked within a 5 minute walk of each other (Mayfair).
I think there still are:
DBZ60
A light green car
A dark green car

Picture came out crap (other half took it) but a Cullinan in the flesh in Arundel (ok, so fairly near the factory)

It's certainly big.

It's certainly not pretty.

I wonder if that's a recent restoration - it's appeared on the net quite a lot recently, has come up several times in FB "spotted" groups.
