I also can't stand to buy a SUV
After running a S6 5.2 V10 Saloon for 3 years the frequent visits to the petrol station gets boring (220 from a tank)
A change in job and more miles led me this
Yes its 518d estate M Sport - its not fast but super smooth and suits me and first tank of fuel yielded 660 from a full tank (mixed driving)

My Saab. Had her 3 years now. Was meant to be a stop gap but I love it so much. Remapped to 275BHP with Good Year Eagle AS3's all around. Did 4000 miles in two weeks to Lithuania and back in it and fitted a full 4 piece bathroom suite to take down to the tip. She will be getting fresh dampers this summer. Currently on 140k and still pulls like an ox. With the exception of maybe Audi from a performance front the Swedes are second to none when it comes to estates.
I've loved fast estate cars since i was bout 23 and finally picked up my 340i in March at 27 and absolutely love it so far. I haven't had an engine in it yet but had a dog who finds it dead easy to get in and out and seems to love the glass opener when we're parked up. Definitely a sleeper car which everyone thinks is a 320d until i put my foot down and they have a shocked face

Very nice!I've got a 2.0 XT as I couldn't justify an STI. I sold my 2010 C class estate a year ago to free up some funds, then purchased a Puma which sadly got written off and always fancied a Forester so picked up one. I've loved every minute of owning it, its a fantastic all-rounder. Mine came with the roof bars too which live in the boot. Tow-bar was already fitted, handy if someone decides to rear end me again.....
Sorry for sneaking in SUV pictures into an estate car thread but can we let it slide as Foresters are awesome
My 2.4 Accord Tourer has seen some action.
Usual bikes/ shed/ mattress/ anything else that will fit strapped to the roof. There’s been and mx5 engine on a cut down pallet in the back, several trips to builders merchants and of course the obligatory camping gear.
Currently it’s doing twice weekly runs looking like this to aid my ongoing house build.
