Respect Yamaha. Respect.Well, here's some of mine from the last ten years...
Not me driving in the first one! 40mph in to a big tree hurts a bit, even with harnesses on! Amazingly we rebuilt it. "Just" needed a new slam panel, so drilled out the spot welds and bolted on a new one.

This is one I broke! At 50mph hitting a big tree hurts...a lot!

(Oh and just for the avoidance of doubt all happened on private land/tracks)

That is not a 50mph smash in the Rover 100!
50 mph into a tree in that = nothing left of you or the car.
More like 5 mph to be honest.
What you cant see in that pic is what happened to the sumpguard (12mm aluminum plate) It ran under the front edge of the bumper [EFA what I mean by the bumper in this context is the very bottom edge of the 'lower grill'] so was almost the first thing the tree hit. It absorbed a lot of the impact, but in the process sheered off the rear mounts for the front subframe, and bent the reinforced front cross member. 50 mph into a tree in that = nothing left of you or the car.
More like 5 mph to be honest.

I was hit head on @ speed on my side of the road, by 2 lieing ...m ...s in a black Merc. I Still can't understand just how I survived the first impact, but my then fitness / my Dad watching over me could be how I survived....told I bounce well lol.
But another persons stupidity / reckless behaviour has changed my life for ever.
