O/T but that is a hail shower not an ice storm, an ice storm is when it rains and it is sub zero at ground level, the rain freezes when it lands. I experienced one in Tulsa and it coated everything in ice, it was an incredible site and caused chaos.

I can assure it was Friday as I drove through it too

He could easily have blocked the car and truck from joining but totally failed to do so !

Citroen hit the back of the turning Renault, the wreck came over to our side, I initially went left hard on the brakes and realised she was still coming over to us, then I went right and narrowly missed the Golf.

Thanks bloody sure the ABS and stability control helped an awful lot. It was dead cert to hit her as I only stopped about 30 yards beyond. I was doing 60-70 odd. Would have spoiled a perfect weekend at the beach.

Yes, my dash cam keeps re-setting the date back to the default start, I assume the battery is on the way out.

Excellent piece of awareness and crash avoidance.

Also a mention for the swearing. That's what happens when you are in a near miss. See a post recently when somebody was being questioned about the necessity of getting all sweary.
