There’s a fella on here who has two (or might even be three) of these!

My Dad (RIP) had one of these, brings back a lot of memories seeing those pics, thanks.

Strong money though!

Somebody's had away with it, and it wasn't me!

I'd have bought that if I wasn't stuck in the slowest trade deal in the history of trade deals.

If it's solid underneath, this is a cheap little shopping car with a difference. One of the last, so comes with a 1.1 Polo engine, water cooling and even a rear wiper!

Can't say I'm a fan of the colour, but it's cool and cheap and probably much nicer to live with than the 2 stroke. thumbup

Google suggests this sold for about £1500 in March, but I don't think £2.5k feels unreasonable if it's as good as it looks.

I think someone got a steal there with the bodywork done etc., I'd have bought it in a heartbeat. I had a yellow J2-ltd, loved that thing.

Obviously condition is the most important thing on these but moody leather interior, horrid stick-on dash trim, 86k and a former write-off suggests £2500 would buy a better example to me smile

A automatic puma with 86k that has been written off Previously is not worth 2.5k. laugh

It's not an automatic, it ought to say VCT.

I reckon the seats look significantly better and more supportive than the standard versions and black on fan blades is surely the best the normal Puma can look. I would ditch the walnot trim though.

One for the patina fans.... and a properly detailed description finally.....

Is it just me or have these aged well? I think they actually look great now and all the ingredients for a fun retro, RWD, V6, manual - cool thing!

What's it going to cost to do the paint on that?

No worries, I can't post a picture properly either !

That Scimitar is quite cool, getting the paint done may depend on the state of the 50 year old fibreglass

Paint job from one of the leading Scimitar specialists is around £14k. You can get it done a lot cheaper than that but it really depends on how much of the gelcoat needs repairing/replacing.

If I could get that mechanically sound I'd happily smoke that as-is. Cool old thing.

Obviously I'd end up in prison after the gazillionth Princess Ann comment resulted in a murder, but a small price to pay.
