Honda Legend 3.5 i-VTEC V6 EX 4dr £2450

185k but all Honda stamps...
I enquired on this, put off as the seller seems like a but of a twunt... ended up buying a non-bargist CR-V instead.

Can’t remember whether I mentioned this but after I retired I got my HGV licence, just as a bucket list thing.
That’s something on my retirement bucket list too. Quite like the idea of doing a few runs on a ‘just because’ basis too so that it would have some longevity.
Me too..!! Although living vicariously through my 21 year old lad atm as he quit his quite frankly bored to tears job with the civil service, did his class 2 and now goes all over the country doing underbridge inspections driving/operating these things. Sounds perfect.

That’s exactly what I have been/am doing, although the past two days of “could you just run this truck to Lux and bring the other one back please?” have been somewhat more than taxing, and not in a good, or HMRC, way. Mostly the runs are all good fun though and I enjoy the challenge of piloting big trucks around interesting roads and obstacles! Might feel differently if I was doing it every day and relied upon it for my livelihood!

Do long term members still get free PH classified ads?
I’ve used that option before, foc, and haven’t been told that it’s been withdrawn, but I haven’t tried listing anything for a couple of years either.

Just totted up the price using a period price list I've got - only adding the options I can see it has, it was a £35,000 list price and £10,000 of extras so £45k. Inflation adjusted, that's £99 grand for a not quite top of the range E class!

The advice not to jump start 129s (I think you’re referring to one here?) is much repeated, on pain of frying various control units, in particular the roof modules. That said, I was dismayed to see from afar my 95 SL being jumped when I collected it from auction, but it survived without issue. If you can get a CTEK or similar attached either to the battery or under the bonnet it would be my preferred option.
Thanks and yes it is. Curiously when I bought the car the garage started it on a battery pack and I have read both the don’t at any cost and also others that have jump started from a car and battery pack without issue.

Unfortunately the car is across the street from my house and an abused back prevents getting the battery out.

LHD and Dinitrol rust proofed in Denmark last year. The bonnet shutline is a bit Rover 75 Facelift?

This was on sale recently. Presumably the seller didn't have much luck and is trying a different route because curio?

Is that jump starting from a car or a battery pack? I can see that you might have a problem jump starting from a car but I can’t see why a battery pack would be a in issue.

Owned for four months, and if anyone has sufficient Google-fu they can find the repeated links we had to it back then. I have a feeling it was 15-18k, perhaps even 20 at one time, at a dealer, flash pics. Reason for sale "bought it for export to the US but it can't go" is obviously bulls hit as anyone would have checked that before buying. I'd go in with both eyes wide open myself...

The “rule” is don’t jump start with no further elaboration but I can see the difference you allude to, and my car survived a jump pack so perhaps jump leads from another car is the real issue.
