If I saw that Civic, I wouldn't think it was a 260bhp car, the standard car probably had around half that. It's a sleeper.

It's only "obvious" to the tiny population of car bores.
Pistonheads.com...probably no car bores on that site scratchchin
It's that classic thing of lacking self awareness.

PH represents a minuscule slither of the population, but so many people here assume that Joe Public thinks the same way they do.
I'm not entirely sure you thought that through before typing laugh

I have no idea if I am looking at the same one or if that is a standard one to compare.

It's one of the photos from the ebay ad...it surprises me that you cannot see that is lowered, I'm not sure many 92/92 Honda's (or anything remotely vanilla of that time) had no arch gap.

It is very obviously lowered.

It’s about 2 inches lower than a standard car. Search Google images of a 1992 civic sedan.

Is 2 inches really any more than the suspension would of sagged on a 1992 car?

It’s not obviously low, just looks worn out.

U wot m8?!

The car is pristine, but the suspension has been left to sag by two inches?

Yep, spot on you would not expect this car to have that much power

Good healthy debate. Here's another normal height Honda for you.

Lots of people lower cars, as I said you would not expect that to have that much power, gets my vote as a sleeper.

It's a small picture of a 30 year old car that wasn't the common body style and not a particular common variant.

240bhp Volkswagen Fox. Just a hacksaw to the exhaust tips away from a good sleeper

Isn't that the point here...a vanilla car from that period would have had some pretty impressive arch gaps, this is just such a car and those gaps are absent.

Downward tips could be an attempt to reduce the volume, shame they don't sit behind the bumper...must be pretty funny watching it hunker down and fook orf, once the wheels stop spinning of course biggrin
