Very nice, but this does the same job and eighty five thousand pounds less:

Excuse me for the break in Porsche content but thought this is awfully tempting for 15k, not a great options list (and those wheels are all wrong) but THAT V12!

I heartily agree - that AMG engine can top trump almost anything, even more so if you use the MB approved chip to take it into very silly figures indeed.http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/m...

Those are the correct wheels on that S65: https://ragtop.org/mbbrochures/2004/int-s65-amg.pd...
And this is how the M275 in that is, apparently, related to the 158 in your common, or garden, Huayra: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_M275...
Fabulous cars. That one's been for sale for a long time.

I'd love to try an S65 one day but that boot lid looks all wrong - badges in the wrong place and wrong sized number plate - what's going on? A result of some cheap fix after a rear-end accident? An import car with the wrong-sized number plate slot? I'd want to understand more before I parted with my cash!it's a bit in here...
This morning I fancy buying this, having it recommissioned and heading off for a long weekend in the Alps.
I guess if you need to ask how much, you can't afford it.
ETA: and judging by this, the going rate is around One Million Pounds.
ETA: actually, I just saved myself £700k - this one is only £300k
I'm sure somebody will be along in a moment to tell me the difference between an 1954 R and a 1961 S2...

I do love the idea of a high speed (90mph) waft down through France in something like that. I would have to ponder what might be kept in the garage at the destination.
I really like this car, which is in a similar vein. Aircon, more modern engine with additional power. I can't make up my mind whether the price is too strong.

And being a tart, I would have to lower it a bit.

the idea of a Bentley Turbo Shooting Brake is a good one.
Maybe lose the operation yewtree colour scheme, paint it claret, or perhaps navy, and it'd be reet.braddo said:
