It addresses a few of my E Type pet hates
The stripped, de-chromed race versions really do look good; the lack of bumpers removes the impression of pointy-ness/excess length and dropping the car stops the wings looking horribly over-sized. The look seems to also play-down the visual impact of A-pillar, which can only be good. The orange lipstick is another thing entirely.

The Apex: Commercial Appeal
Walker and Hill still makes me laugh: it's just so ridiculous.

Never seen the M&W Hunt ads before, loved them.
The Shell advert is just awesome. That 60s/70s sound isn’t just...distilled perfection.
Great find, Thankyou!

Is Ferrari the only manufacturer to produce a flat-12 for a road car?
I can only think of Ferrari's and Churchill tanks that had a flat 12. And I don't think you can class the latter as a road car ferrisbueller said:

Both awesome in their own ways!Looking forward to getting home so I can hear the C291 on YouTube! Looks pretty incredible.
I forgot about the 917 as well, that is a pretty special machine. Such a shame Porsche never made a road going flat-12, you'd have thought if anyone could do it they can!
