It's amazing the "best colour" happens to be whatever the dealer has in stock.

Probably an airport run car. You'd need deep pockets to keep a quality Ford diesel engine running for 400k of town driving

I thought the engines in those were pretty well regarded if you kept on top of maintenance (and replaced the wet belt which most people don’t)

Likewise, I was under the impression the 2.0 tdci in the mk4 was a pretty solid unit if maintained properly. I know the mk3 diesels could give quite a lot of issues though.

Interior condition looks amazing for that mileage, Audis often show more wear on the switches at 100k than that

That Mondeo is realtively low mileage if it has been used by one man as a rural taxi.

I have a 68 plate Galaxy that has just turned 14 months old and has 85k on it. It won't see it's 10th birthday. I'll be surprised if it sees it's 5th.

My cars generally do 70k a year and once they hit 200k anything big means a trip to the scrap yard or eBay. That said, I might have to up that a bit, because cars seem to be looking good and going well for longer.

I just sold my 180k Accord tourer to a taxi driver doing the pub/ club weekend grind in Birmingham. He said he doesn’t buy below 150k anymore and runs most cars until 300k unless they die

That's the way to do it. No point in buying a new car for Scott and Chantelle to vomit their kebab all over it.

Not particularly high tbh. Only around 14k a year which is just above average.
My mum has an identical car in terms of colour, spec and those bloody 18" wheels. She does about 5k a year but 14k a year with that ride quality would feel like twice that!! haha

Why is this F150 unusually cheap despite looking so smart? Oh, that'll be because it's got nearly 300k miles!

Those Fords are pretty robust on the whole, but watch out for intake manifold cracking

As an aside, I never knew these had suicide rear doors.

Those front seats are well worn/faded.

The extended cab (this one) does, double cab has a larger back seat area and normal rear doors
