If you're really pushing on, there is a fair bit of body movement, but very controlable.
At 75mph + I've found out that too. Still, excellent engine as you say, power/economy -wise.

Anyone who still gets hung up on a Skoda badge (and they were never quite as bad as everyone says) is a big of a mug - they represent good value, and are probably the VAG car best suited for the UK (softest sprung as a brand)
well said yes
I'd have a Skoda

Quick question, I've committed to buying a Fabia VRS from a DM Keith dealership.
I was disappointed to learn about the offer on Skoda's wensite: Pay no VAT on new cars and 0% on their website, which could work out better for me.
The dealership I've been dealing with haven't even given it a mention :S

So what I'd like to know is, when D M Keith say there is no new unsold Fabia VRS stock. Is this for the country or just "D M Keith stock" if there is such a thing?

Cheers

Did you pay the full asking price?

I've agreed to pay the asking price but got the road tax thrown in and alloys refurbished, to be honest I maybe could have gotten it down a bit further but not much more.
I've paid £100 deposit. I'm not usually one to try and wrangle out of deals, but I'm really annoyed they didn't tell me about the no VAT + 0% finance deal.

It means that for a little more initial outlay (But over the time of finance no extra cash overall) I could have a brand spanker and not pay £2000 in interest.
Brand new stock thats not on waiting list is a bit more difficult to come by though...

ETA, the car I've agreed to purchasing is a used motor.

I was quoted a 28 week wait for a new VRS, so any spare in the system get snapped up asap.

Still very much alive in France and the skoda has been a dream to drive, I've driven 1200 miles up to now with no bother. Looking forward to the 1000 miles return trip!
