Yeah but if it runs on lpg you can run a fast as fook car for the same as a cinquecento so short slip roads shouldn't be a problem
worth noting I haven't yet checked your garage incase you already have such a car
Good point! Dont bother ive not done anything with the garage on here. Its a T reg Mondeo 2.0 Zetec if you were wondering, hardly inspiring i know but i still rate it highly for a 12 year old car. I am looking at changing car soon so be prepared for another 'whatcar' eventually, ive test driven a 645 and loved it but despite having the cash to buy it i always resist spending money cool

Big, reasonably powerful automatic barge would be nice, ive looked at everything from the 645 to the Rover sodding 75.

I've seen taxi drivers flash their lights at night when approaching traffic lights with the belief that this act turns them to green?
Only at night in off peak times when "some" lights revert to sensor activation and even then only on ones with the sensor on top, doesn't work with the in road sensors obv smile
It's mainly on temmp lights and side roads joining main roads.

No. They don't react to headlight flashing. Not at all.

I think the headlight flashing myth comes from the US where some traffic lights do actually have a sensor to detect ambulance strobes (I THINK). Pretty sure it's a load of bks over here though...

I once told my passenger that the chime which lets you know the low fuel light has come on was so that blind people did not run out of petrol.
Same as rumble strips- let blind drivers know a junction is coming up.

It is - a true urban myth that has taken hold in so many otherwise sensible minds.

A Traffic Officer can't arrest you if they aren't wearing a hat

The Alfasud rusted so badly the engine could fall out

Ford's official policy was to pay out compensation rather than modify the rear bumper of the Pinto (it was suggested in a memo but not official policy)

And the white lines at STOP junctions, also have STOP in braille on them. Next time close your eyes and listen if you hear them as you approach the junction.

The noise the door makes when you shut it is an accurate indicator of the overall build quality of the car.

I've heard many over the years. The one that sticks out is something like: Rubbing cheese on your tyres causes the rubber to react to the cheese and soften, providing more grip.

And another well known test:

Scraping your fingernails across the dashboard will tell you how likely it is to fall apart.

Yes. They do.

We have some near us with sensors on top, after 10pm if its clear but your red flash and they go green. Won't change if someone is passing the other set though.

They sense your car driving up, not your lights flashing.
