I wonder if Tom Walkinshaws guys ever did anything with the SD3?

Can't afford an SD1 yet.

Well done for the uploads - have to confess I am more interested in the 1987 COI rally footage as I'm restoring one of the cars used.

If you ever get chance to upload the remaining part 3 of that event coverage could you give me a shout please?

(I've found masterofsideways upload of part 2 but part 3 seems impossible to find)

French women full stop - Doesn't really matter what they look like either, just the sound of their voices biggrin

I think Pons still co-drives at WRC level (or did until recently) and Mouton was truly world class, not just a 'token woman' driver.

I saw her at Le Mans a couple of years back, she's still pretty hot biggrin

Ace video, the way the cars look so loose makes them thrilling to watch, the bouncy suspension and slidey rear ends are far cry from the ultra-grippy missiles that you see at the top level of rallying now.

That old Celica Supra too, what a beauty, best car of the bunch.

Hmmmm, not as nice as Italian women but can be just as problematic.

IIRC a certain Mrs. Pat Moss was quite handy behind the wheel.

Good guess wink

And you made me laugh about the rear window - but I can say it didn't come with any windows - or a lot of other bits but it's not stopping me.

Mmmm - I can't say I find Italian as attractive a sound as French, but it's far from terrible (Anything but Flemish! biggrin).

Armpit hair. hurl

At Oktoberfest a few years ago there was a lady (I think) who had her armpit hair tied in little ponytails.

I remember seeing Mr Pond nearly cutting the SD1 in half against a tree in front of me on a stage at Knowlesley Safari Park, Lombard RAC, cMid '80s. Watching it on the highlights that evening, from in-car, Co driver Rob Arthur calmly undid his seatbelts and said "Alright, let's get out and have a look".
