Reckon the OP is seriously out on his own on this one.
Struggling to think of an occasion on PH where consensus opinion has been more emphatic!Just to add my weight to the tidal wave, I'm of a similar age to the specified celeb (no idea who he is by the way) and I cannot think of another car that meets my needs and desires as well as a Maserati GranTurismo. I'd have one in a heart-beat...
ok having now seen every other colour than what declan bought, I would like to change my mind - it does look pretty tasty in some of those pics.
The reason for the thread is because, in all seriousness, it does strike me as 'an older mans car'. Hard to explain why. Just seems more 'mature' and less 'fun'. Still looks a bit 'hefty' too

Dynamically not that brilliant and an awful gearbox in the one I drove, paddles almost seemed to be for decoration! They're also quite heavy and tyres don't seem to last long. However...
Some people drive point to point, flat out on B roads with a big grin on their face. Those people would drive loads of different cars and pick the one they liked best. Some like good looks, a nice noise and some comfy chairs. Those people tend to be recommended cars by others. Seems like Dec is the latter and has chosen / been recommended reasonably well. Silver though? Not feeling it.
