Awesome!! Love the classic sporty look with the wheels but pricey! That's close to 1 series M price which is a blast of a machine.

I thought quattro had to have a lower case q?

I love this though. Agreed about a "club sport" version being needed.

That doesn't give it a PH homepage story though...we need to share with the news folk, not just the forumites.

Worth it for the old skool wheels alone. Pop these on a black Escort Mk4 RS Turbo - minty lick

Yeah, like most, I like it, and think the wheels are the best aspect to the styling.

Not sure about that rear spoiler though!

Yes, it's expensive, and whilst some don't like the "sombre" Interior, the quality inside is still quite amazing for an entry level car.

Even if it's 1300kg, 300+bhp on a stage 1 remap will make it pretty potent.

It actually is making the A1 more interesting but I still think it looks dull

"Bolstered by a intercooler..."

Does anyone give these articles even a quick scan before posting them?

I like the look of it.

If an rs1 is uk bound, this must preview it quite heavily. I expect an rs to have 350ish bhp.

Do you think this version is S1 level or likely to be rs1 level?

Me three...

Too much like a Fiat 500. But I like the Fiat. This, not so much.

The A1 is probably my favourite small car at the moment, no doubt these will be collectors items in the future.

It is great but I would love it more if the drivetrain turned up in a Polo at £10k less, but as a way of having a Halo differentiation variant this is a lovely brand builder. Can't get over the fact that most people driving A1s are basically driving Fabias for 40% more cost to get a different dashboard and looks.

I looks rather good, that.

I'd quite like to see a 'club sport' version, without all of the technological goodies and with some alcantara recaros. Something a little lighter and cheaper.
Hopefully there will be a version like that, but lets face it, it won't be cheaper wink

£33k will get you a nearly new Audi TT RS you're gonna have to really really want those rims to want this.

Having said that, if they offered a quattro drivetrain on the 1.4 TFSI I would likely place an order, so long as it wasn't silly money!
