Don't pick up on comedy? I know it wasn't great but I've used it for years. It usually gets a little titter or two.
I did, hence my post. If I'd been critical I'd have posted "I think you mean advocate."

Personally, I like the fire idea.

Anyway, quite a lot of naming and shaming going on here, so I'm going old skool.

A mate at work had this happen to him, made him late for work.mad
He had the same thing the next day, so he left them a present.
Doggy doo-doo and wiped it under the door handles, never had a problem since.

Although this will lead to being blocked in for longer why dont you pop down your locl shop and clear their shelves of cling film and make you self a challenge to see how much of the van can be wrapped up as tight as possible.

This includes going under and over the van to ensure the doors are tightly sealed and also front to back covering front windows and rear doors.

When they return setup the video camera and post the results up here.

I'd write him a polite note, and then stick it onto his windscreen with all the PVA you can find. If he gives you trouble for him, ask him if he'd like to pay the days wages you would have earned if you could leave your house.

I feel for you. I get it a lot with my drive (my house is next to the village shop) and van drivers are by far the worst. That siad, the level of ignorance can be astounding. I almost got blocked in by a woman as I was trying to exit the drive at the time. Ridiculous.

They come up with all sorts of excuses, even though there are double yellows directly outside the shop on both sides of the road and an unbroken white line in front of my drive with signs up.

Only one has had the temerity to ignore my polite (if not stern) suggestion to move the vehicle. He came back to a flat tyre thanks to a valve core that has mysteriously failed, probably earlier that very day.

I know someone that done that once. Thought they were real clever too.

Til they got up the next day, and all 4 of their tyres, on both their cars, had been done.
That'll learn them for thinking they're clever as opposed to being clever.

Happens all the time where i work. Customers and deliveries to the Electrical wholesalers across the road. They don't want to block their access but don't even notice ours.

I needed to get out. My OH went right though the tubby fk for trying to feed her horse a bit of his roll and bacon over the fence. fking moron.
A bit off topic, but that's quite an unusual way to refer to a bacon roll.

Is "roll and bacon" the same as "meat and two veg"?

The painter has just turned up, when I pointed out he had blocked our drive, he just replied, "so what, I'm only blocking a little bit of it, you should have a smaller car, then you would have got out".

What a total piss boiler.
