Of course it isn't as groundbreaking, successors generally aren't: it's a refinement of what went before, there isn't the new ground to break. E.g.: the Veyron was groundbreaking, the Veyron SS wasn't. Apply it to other groundbreaking cars and their successors/replacements/evolutions (I don't know enough of the groundbreaking models, Audi quattro maybe? How does what followed compare in terms of broken ground?).
We're singing off the same hymn sheet. The 370Z I am sure is a better car but it has several things working against it that the 350Z never had to contend with.

Also, better but not as iconic.

Think I prefer the original, but would like to see this in the flesh before making my mind up. scratchchin

Me too! There's something very macho looking about the original, purposeful! So would like to see a new one on the road.

Looks very dull now, like they glued a 350 front end on a 370. At least the previous look had some visual aggression and flair to it, this looks very bland.

I'm a 350z owner but still can't make up my mind about the 370z....not a fan of the Americanised facelift though....this is far more appealing to the eye....

Sorry to be a tart but i can't resist, it came out of the garage for the first time in a few months yesterday and i'm back in love with it again

That looks very nice. Does it have a glass roof or is it painted black?

As an American, I say...this new design is rubbish.

Is it just the bumper thats been 'updated' on the 370? Supposedly if you bought a new one and were that concerned you could buy an original 370 bumper?
