Buying used cars with 100k
Discussion
I bought my Mondeo with 96k on. Now has 161k.
I figure somebody paid about £25k for it and got 96k, that's 25p/mile in depreciation! I paid £950, that's 1.5p/mile if the entire thing disintegrates round me tomorrow and leaves nothing to weigh in (got to be worth a few quid at 1.5t).
Lets not mention the 51p/mile depreciation on the RX-8 though (and that assumes we get what we want for it).

Makes good sense financially.
cars cope with huge mileage if looked after.
I have seen several cars with "engine seized, no oil" for £500 spares only. Volvo S60, Focus ST, Renault Megane III.cars cope with huge mileage if looked after.
